That last post might have been heavy, but I am glad to have gotten rid of it.

Now, for real news:

I am considering buying an ultra-mobile personal computer!

For those of you who haven’t yet seen, there’s a good degree of hype about these new laptops which fill the gap between Laptops and phones.

It’s similar to having a streamlined laptop, where word documents etc. can be processed. I am quite pleased with this options because there are a number of times that I will have to alter documents between work (whenever I GET a J-O-B) and home when time can truly be extremely precious. Phones won’t allow for that kind of alteration (Consider needing to quickly revise or create a cover-page or a heading for a motion and you’ll understand what I’m talking about here).

Many of the Asus laptops seem marginally satisfactory, however, I’ve been looking at the HP MININOTE too:

So far this is THE laptop that I want, although Intel’s ATOM chip is also coming out this Summer and should allow other computers to get even smaller. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

So what’s this boy to do?

Buy, buy, buy!  I’m going to solicit funds from HP so that I get my Bar-trip paid for too.
